Jolie has parcipated in numerous Charity work. She was the first to receive the newly created Citizen of the World Award by the United Nations Correspondents Association. Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni awarded her Combodian Citizenship for her extr-ordinary chaity work in the country on August 12, 2005. She has promised $5million for setting up a wildlife sanctury in the north-western province of Battambang. She was also awarded the Global Humanitarian Award by the UNA-USA.
